Superior shades with optimized external reflection
The latest development in the Guardian SunGuard® Solar Plus range of coated solar control glass, SunGuard® Solar Plus Clear 65 provides optical clarity, lower internal and external reflection, as well as energy performance that helps enhance occupant comfort.
SunGuard® Solar Plus Clear 65 has a highly desirable, neutral, transparent appearance with improved visibility and reduced reflection. The glass combines good solar control and thermal insulation with high natural light transmission (67%), yet also low emissivity (0.54 SHGC), helping architects and designers meet energy efficiency certification objectives.
SunGuard® Solar Plus Clear 65 provides low internal and external light reflection (4% and 10% respectively), adding a much more neutral tone to the glass when viewing the glass from inside and outside the building.
The glass can be used in a wide range of commercial and residential applications including curtain walls, doors, windows, facades, partitions, roof windows and skylights. The glass can be used in a double insulating glass
unit or in monolithic applications, where the glass has been tested and proven for its durability.
SunGuard® Solar Plus Clear 65 is available annealed, as well as heat treated or laminated for safety, security or acoustic applications.
