By allowing abundant natural light into homes, offices and vehicles, glass products can help contribute to occupants’ well-being.
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a verified and registered document that communicates transparent information about the life-cycle environmental impact of a product.
Gujarat Guardian Ltd. EPDs are developed specific to the region where the glass is manufactured. By publishing EPDs, we supports architects and designers who strive to understand the environmental impact of the buildings they design through the products they specify. The goal is to provide them with the information needed to calculate their buildings whole life carbon (WLC) emissions and achieve credits in global building rating systems, such as LEED® and BREEAM®. Two EPDs are available from Guardian Glass AMEI. For certifications and declarations for Guardian Glass products manufactured in Europe, Latin America or North America regions, please refer to that region’s webpage.
