SunGuard® Solar Plus Green 50 is a new addition to the Guardian SunGuard® Solar Plus range of coated solar control glass. Solar Plus Green 50 is the preferred choice when architects and designers are looking for a glass with a soothing green appearance that offers exceptional solar control and thermal insulation performance. The glass is also a more energy-efficient alternative to body-tinted green glass.

Even in monolithic form, Solar Plus Green 50 combines excellent solar control and thermal insulation with high natural light transmission (54%), but also offers low internal reflection (4%) and external reflection (16%). With a solar

heat gain coefficient of 0.44, the glass helps architects and designers meet energy efficiency certification objectives.

Green 50 can be used in a wide range of commercial and residential applications including curtain walls, windows, facades, partitions, roof windows and skylights. The glass can be used in a double insulating glass unit or in monolithic applications, where the glass has been tested and proven for its durability.

Green 50 is designed on clear float glass. The glass is available annealed, as well as heat treated or laminated for safety, security or acoustic applications
